Hello Dali introduced four new members at their show on Thursday, October 8th.
The new members consisted of freshman theater majors Noah Vasquez “Crickey” and Kairi Rossi “Goose”, history education major Conner French “Dr. Doctor”, and sophomore pre-dental and biosciences major Tanner Bishop “Clumsy Steve”.

Senior English major Brenden Cash said the show was a success and that the new members have good chemistry.
Cash said, “They were already friends with the member, Pool Boy. They were just already kind of his friends. There's a lot of chemistry that's sort of baked into that already. And good chemistry makes for very good scenes.”
Sophomore pre-nursing major Zack Evans “Pool Boy” reflected on why he joined Hello Dali last semester.
“I joined because I genuinely just needed friends, and I like attention to a standard, and it's a nice place to be creative and goofy with other people,” said Evans.
The new members participated in many different improv games and got to bond over the past few weeks.
Bishop went over how he came to join Hello Dali and what has come out of his participation so far.
“I joined it because I previously supported my good friend, Pool Boy, while he did it last year, and I thought it would be super cool to hop in and do it as well,” said Bishop. “It's a lot of good jokes, a lot of funny in a free way. You don't have to worry about other people judging you, or even just commenting. It's just so much fun to be around people you can laugh with.”
Vasquez recalled how his orientation leader got him to join the group.
“I was at freshman orientation, and I was talking about how I wanted to do the productions, the plays, the musicals. And one of my orientation leaders said, ‘Hey, you should join Hello Dali. They do some improv comedy. It's nothing serious, but it's still really fun.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, that sounds fun.’ And then I tried out, and I made it.”
He noted how Hello Dali feels tight-knit and how close everyone is.
“I feel like there's a sense of family here, I mean, I barely met most of these people, but I feel like we're all so close and connected, and it's like it's like a family away from my actual family back at home,” said Vasquez
Evans said he has high hopes for the new Hello Dali members.
“We had a good show up. We saw the newbies. They were fantastic and phenomenal. And yeah, I just can't wait for more shows in the future.”
